In September 2017 we decided to buy this old school bus with the idea to convert it into a motorhome to travel Australia! We had an almost two year old son at the time, I was heavily pregnant and we had no skills that would help us to convert it into a home.
However, we have a dream and a lot of determination to make it work!
My husband and I had met 5 years before and always talked about travelling Australia, we originally planned to do it in a van but that never happen. Now we had two kids and needed to find an alternative so we took to the internet and after months and months of watching hundreds of youtube videos we decided to buy this beauty! We wanted something we could live on whilst saving rent to get our savings up after to travel comfortably.
It’s been almost two years since we brought the bus now, were going to be creating blogs to reflect on what we’ve learnt, what worked, what didn’t work and all the in-between. We’re hoping to move onto the bus in the next few months, we hope you follow along for our adventure!
